Pay Attention

A word is a note. Groups of them, music. How music is heard isn’t on the performer but the listener as well. In 2019 especially. And on the internet especially. And on social media especially. But especially on Twitter where characters are rented out at the highest rates allowed. An obscene rate according to my opinion. And nobody asked me my opinion. But when I give it, more care is needed in 2019. Because no matter what words I use to compose, the reader may hear the tune differently. In 2019 they judge after one verse. They argue a point without knowing what comes before or after. Because once they hear that first note, the song is no longer mine.

Pay attention to what you hear. Give thought to the notes, and more importantly, the spaces between them.
