I was just pointed to a post that describes events at @gocrossrace. I’m disgusted by what I read. Heckling is a fairly recent phenomenon in cyclocross, that is if you take the long view. How it entered the room and why it’s accepted has puzzled me for more than a decade. Bullying is even worse. What has happened to our sport?
I’m going to my first weekend of racing tomorrow. Not to pin on a number, only to help the small group of RSCX riders who are supported by the generosity of a dozen brands, some industry some not. Fair warning. Don’t fuck with my teammates. And more to the point, don’t fuck with their friends or anyone else in cyclocross, or beyond.
