Work in progress. Views of the front and the back of my seatstay toppers. The outside is party, the inside is business. I start with parts commissioned from Silva over a decade ago. They’re made to fit the diameters on PegoRichie tubes. They come blank except for the internals. I reduce their length by half, file in a radius to start a shape, then lean them on the belt sander to burnish in the almost finished radii. I also round over the top area this way. The interiors are side specific and shaped similarly to nest nicely against the seat lug.
