Description

My life in cycling is inseparable from the sport. Once I slipped through the window and found a roomful of bicycles, it was racing that kept me here. Both on and off the course, as a participant as well as a spectator – it was my gateway drug. It continues to be.

As a framebuilder, all of my influences and inspiration come from the arenas of competition. What I know and practice at the bench is the result of decades of kilometers on the road, track, and cyclocross circuits.

In 1978 I was approached by Gaylen Preheim and asked to supply bicycles to the new team his Toga Bike Shop was starting. I became the sponsor and, for several seasons, his riders atop my bicycles won races all over the east coast and beyond.

Several years later my name would begin to appear on the backs of riders. That was when I started sponsoring my own team and continued doing so for nearly 45 years. During that time I supported several other teams and individuals concurrently.

This poster represents all of the jerseys since 1981. Carlos Alejandro photographed each one in his Delaware studio. Evert Lee from House Industries designed the poster. Ken Barber from Type & Lettering drew the graphic.

Printing was done in West Haven, Connecticut by GHP Media on 80# silk cover, FSC certified paper using a Konica KM1, UV press.
