By 1978 and with my experience as a user and maker, I locked down my tooling for certain dims, drop among them. Eight centimeters was not only the perfect choice. it was the only one. In 1982 when my Bike Machinery Hydra fixture arrived, I set it at 8cm where it’s been ever since. This past week I unpacked my new tool from @sputniktool. While it will take a minimum of a few dozen frames to begin learnings its nuances, one measurement is already second nature. The tradition continues.
