The thing about file strokes is that one too few and you’re there or almost there but one too many and you’ve lost the chance to see what you’ve imagined become real. No middle ground. Folks who don’t file may not get this. Folks who haven’t filed enough will say dues are less these days and they’re not on your lawn anyway. Folks whose hands and files are inseparable, or whose strokes are intuitive, or maybe who are one stroke away from getting all this – they’ll get it.
