Pastaio via Corta

No October trip to Cape Ann is complete without taking in the ‘cross races at Stage Fort Park. As it’s been for two decades, the event is a must attend on the RSCX calendar. But the real reason TLD and I (with Buddy in tow) now go to Gloucester is to drop in to @pastaioviacorta. I think it was three years ago when we first stumbled in on this lovely shop on one of the village’s short streets and fell in the love with it. Now around a corner on Main Street, Pastaio Via Corta has widened the lines a bit and is more delightful than ever. It’s an inspirational environment, a gallery of haute-pasta making using the finest local and in season ingredients.

Our rooms are already booked for 2019 and we can’t wait to return.
